Peter Kutin - works with soundas composer, producer, sound-sculptor born in an austrian industrial area located on the country side: now practically based in vienna but permanent in transit.he realized a wide variety of works & sound-ethnological projects. beside solo works he collaborated with other musicians,film-& theater directors, visual artists as well as journalists ;in studios, in the field and on stage.
after accomplishing his latest project ‘desert-sound’ in the abandoned regions of the Atacama, he has become very interested in the resonance-patterns of glacier gaps.

João Castro Pinto is a Portuguese composer and researcher that started his activity during the mid 90?s. His sound work ranges between: soundscape composition, dense droning, noise, electroacoustic, acousmatic / tape music & experimental electronic music genres. He graduated in Philosophy from the New University of Lisbon and is currently concentrated in his Ph.D. studies on Computer Music / Soundscape Composition @ U.C.P. (C.I.T.A.R. ? Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts) in Porto, Portugal.
J. Castro Pinto has been the recipient of several prizes, fellowships / distinctions, and played over 100 concerts all over Europe, the U.S.A. and Asia, in cities such as: NYC, Seoul, Iowa, Vienna, Klosterneuburg, Graz, Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, München, Bolognano, Athens, Uden, Leeds. Performed in festivals and venues such as: Seoul International Computer Music Festival, Música Viva (PT), Aveiro Síntese ? Electroacoustic Music Festival (PT), PNEM Sound Art Festival (The Netherlands), Phill Niblock?s Experimental Intermedia Foundation (NYC _ USA), U.I.M.A. ? University of Iowa Museum of Art (Iowa, U.S.A. ), ÖRF (Austrian National Radio ? Kunstradio_Radiokunst), Sammlung Essl Museum (AT), etc?
João Castro Pinto will perform a live laptop improvisation using processed field recordings collected during his recent tours to England, Austria and South Korea.
